Meadowvale War Memorial
At the centre of this memorial landscape is Conflict, an interpretive sculpture by Toronto artist Kari Myllymaki. Its abstract granite forms and polished globe honour veterans without glorifying war, creating a contemplative space shaped in collaboration with arborist Jack Radecki.

A winding river cuts through a quiet, leafless forest, its pale green water reflecting a soft, fading sky. The eroded banks and bare trees evoke a sense of stillness, transition and time slowly reshaping the landscape.
