Cemetery Etiquette: Visiting with Respect

Our cemeteries are places of remembrance and tranquility. To help preserve their dignity, we ask all visitors to follow these respectful practices:

Visiting Practices

  • Keep noise levels low and respect funeral services and mourners.
  • Follow posted signage and cemetery by-laws for hours and permitted activities.
  • Leave tributes with care. Avoid breakable or non-biodegradable items.

Photography

Personal photography of the installations is welcomed, provided care is taken not to photograph gravesites. Photography, filming, or video recording by large groups or for media purposes is only permitted with prior written approval. This ensures privacy and respect for families and their loved ones.

Pet Policy

Dogs are welcome on leashes along roadways and hardscape areas. Please clean up after your pet and respect the sanctity of the grounds. Service animals may accompany their owners at all times.
