Shared Stories, Quiet Reflection 

As Mount Pleasant Group marks 200 years, Pine Hills will recognize this milestone through installations that invite reflection on life’s stories, moments of transition and shared experiences of care and remembrance.

Beginning in mid-July, interpretive signage placed at varying heights will guide visitors through MPG storytelling and offer narrative prompts for reflection. Coloured vinyl applied to interior windows will transform light-filled spaces into gentle passages of colour. As sunlight shifts throughout the day, changing hues wash across the interior, creating quiet moments of pause and contemplation for those passing through.

Later in the summer, plinths with multi-sided signage will be installed indoors, serving as wayfinding, informational and narrative keystones. Featuring four-sided printed panels or multi-panel displays, these elements provide additional historical and interpretive context while acting as visible reference points within interior spaces.

Together, these installations form part of MPG’s network-wide 200^th anniversary, reflecting how places of care continue to support memory, reflection and connection across generations.
